Join us on an unforgettable three-day tour to explore amazing landscapes of Mangystau, Kazakhstan.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Aktau to Airakty
North-Eastern Mangystau Exploration Our tour begins in Aktau at 9:30 a.m., pickup at the hotel or the airport. We will head to the north-east of Mangystau and explore several unique sites. First, we visit the Torysh Valley (about 2 hours drive), known for its giant stone spheres. Then continue to the Kokala tract (about 30 minutes drive), where we will stop for a picnic-style lunch and spend some time exploring the colorful hills. After that, we head to the impressive Sherkala Mountain (about 30 minutes further). Our last stop is the Airakty–Shomanay Valley of Castles (30 minutes drive), where we will set up camp, cook dinner, and enjoy the beautiful evening view. We will spend around 30–40 minutes at each site for sightseeing and photography. Overnight: Camping in tents Meals included: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Airakty to Urochishche Bozzhyra, Kazakhstan
We will wake up at 8:00 a.m., enjoy breakfast, then pack up our camping gear and head out to see the most iconic location of Mangystau – Bozzhyra. The trip begins with a 2-3 hour drive from the campsite, and a short stop in Zhanaozen city to refill water and fuel. First, we will visit two different viewpoints at the upper panorama (Dragon Crest and Mars panorama), followed by a drive down to the lower panorama. On the way, the scenery feels almost like being on the surface of Mars. We will spend about 1 hour exploring the lower panorama before settling in for dinner and a night under the stars. Day 3: Urochishche Bozzhyra, Kazakhstan to aktau
You will wake up to the amazing view of the Bozzhyra towers. After breakfast, we drive to the mid-panoramic viewpoint of Bozzhyra, also known as the Cliff panorama, for a short hike with gentle uphill and downhill sections. This viewpoint offers a breathtaking perspective of the Bozzhyra towers. Our next stops are the unique, cake-shaped Bokty Mountain, colorful landscapes of Kyzylkup (Tiramisu Valley) and final stop Senek Desert From there, we will return to Aktau (about 3 hours drive). The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or the airport at approximately 18:00.
