About this tour
On the way to Turgen gorge, along the same river, you can reach the high plateau of Assy. The gorge goes 44 km to a huge plateau Assy (2560m). Assy is a large intermountain valley, about 40 km long and up to 10 km wide and about 2700 meters above sea level. The plateau is located between the basins of the Shelek and Turgen rivers. The road to Turgen gorge is not available for all types of transport.
