Historical Tour In The Eastern Mongolia
About this tour
This trip show us historical memorials of battle field /1939-1945/,and Historical monuments ,memorials/13th century, related to chinggiskhaan period/,obviously natural beauty, features than other parts is the widest steppe/мэнэнгийн тал/. and staying in a nomadic ger/ yurt/. The huge stone Budda where lays on the hill.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar to Choibalsan city
Morning Our driver and guide pick you up from your place/Hotel,or Guesthouse ...etc / Drive to Choibalsan city /664km on paved road/. it takes about 6-8 hours depending on driver's speed. Lunch is on the road cafe. Dinner is in Choibalsan city .
Day 2: Choibalsan city to Buir lake complex resort
After breakfast we wander through city for watching some museums and memorials.Then we drive to Buir lake. Buir lake is the one of the biggest 10 lakes in Mongolia,and the biggest lake in the Eastern part. Good for swimming and fishing. in summer from middle of July until September it is always warm and features than others are shallow everywhere, so it is so safe for families with kids and really good option for camping lakeside.
Day 3: Buir lake resort complex to Khalkh gol
This day we go to Khalkh gol Town, on our way we will visit the huge stone Budda and many war memorials of battle field. In the evening we reach the town khalkh gol.
Day 4: Khalkh gol to Choibalsan city
This day we visit museum in the town, also we will visit other memorials. Afternoon we drive back to Choibalsan city. Stay overnight in a hotel or ger camp.
Day 5: Choibalsan city to Batnorov city
morning we drive to Batnorov to visit historical memorials which are related to also 13th century chinggiskhaan period, old and new monuments and statues which is dedicated for his great friendship with his friend boorchi. We could could stay there in a ger camp or hotel.
Day 6: Batnorov city to Dadal
This day we will go to another interesting place, it is chinggiskhaan birthplace, so there is pretty nice art creations ,historical monuments for him and nature view and natural formations are gorgeous, all places are surrounded by pine green trees, rivers and lakes. We stay in a ger camp.
Day 7: Dadal to Binder town
This day we also will drive to another interesting place Binder. It takes only couple hours from Dadal. Binder town has many features that other places, it is also still considered as a birthplace of Chinggis khaan by some other people. It has many historical and art creations and memorials and beatifull nature. many historical proofs that he was born here. However Dadal is officially proclaimed as a birth place of him, but scientists and historians still have discussion about Binder. So we find there many interesting things and definitely enjoy its nature .
Day 8: Binder to Baldan bereeven monastery
After tour in Binder we drive to Baldan bereeven monastery ,it takes also little more couple of hours. Monastery is located in the gorgeous hidden deep of mountain, it has many historical things.
Day 9: Baldan bereeven monastery to Khar zurkhnii khukh lake
We drive to khukh nuur Lake, it takes only 2hours to get there. Khukh nuur Lake is also related to chinggiskhaan period. Temuujin was proclaimed here as a king of Mongolia and deserved title "chinggiskhaan" 1189 year. Obviously this place is beautiful and Lake surrounded by many natural beauties. and some art monuments are created for him. We stay here I tourist camp.
Day 10: Khar zurkhnii khukh lake to Ulaanbaatar
This is the last day of our wonderful trip to east. It takes only 3-4hours to UB. on the road we could visit the great horse statue of Chinggis khaan in Tsonjin boldog.
