Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to SATY, Kazakhstan

Start a day schedule from Almaty city. Way to the Charyn canyon about 2.5 hours. That way via picturesque views of fields and mountains. In national park of Charyn canyon it takes about of 2.5 km of walking via the bottom of Red canyon. After it relaxing in shade of relict trees of Turanga. Continue the walking by the top of canyon with panoramic views. Usually it takes about 2.5 hours for walking. Then way to the Saty village for lunch in guesthouse. Only 1.5 hours of driving from "kazakh Arizona" to "kazakh Switzerland". After lunch visit a Kolsay lower lake. Walking around of lake through the forest . During the walking possible to rent a boat or catamaran. For relaxing time we can visit a restaurant for tea or coffee with panoramic views of lake. Finish a day in guesthouse in Saty village . National dinner and overnight.

Day 2: SATY, Kazakhstan to Almaty, Kazakhstan

Morning visit of the Kaindy lake. It takes about 40 minutes of driving along of Kaindy river by gravel road. Unique lake with "arrows" of trees. Possible to rent horses for walking to the lake from parking. After lake visit a guesthouse in Saty village for lunch. Then way to the Almaty city via the Black canyon. Stopping at the panoramic point for photos.
