Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Arrival in Bishkek, meeting with a guide, driving to Bishkek city and checks in hotel. You will have few hours in hotel for a rest and breakfast after a long flight. And after a rest we will drive in city and have lunch in one of the local Restaurant. Visiting always lively market Osh Bazaar, Ala Too squire and Fine Art Museum, dinner with tasty food and brief information about tour. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Ala Archa National Park, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will drive to Ala Archa national park where you can see nature, Tien Shan mountains just 40km from city. Walk in National Park with breathtaking views, and we will start hiking to Ak Say waterfall and higher up to your wishes and according to the time. First day in Kyrgyzstan and to get use to the nature. Beautiful nature and snow covered peak. Have picnic in nature and hike back to parking lot to drive back. Dinner in Bishkek at restaurant and overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek – Chon Kemin National Park (Kegeti + Burana Tower): Pick you up from your hotel and drive to Kegeti Gorge, where we will have a hike to Kol Tor lake. Beautiful sceneries (1,5 hour driving 2-3h hiking to the lake and back is 1-3h depending on speed) and continue driving to Burana Tower from Kegeti. Visit Burana Tower (from 11th century). Arrive in Guest House, very hospitable and great chef with. Dinner and overnight in Guest House.
Day 4: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Kyzart, Kyrgyzstan
Morning breakfast at Kyrgyz family and walk in the village to discovery for couple of hours and continue driving to Kyzart. Hike to Konerchek canyons in Boom gorge. 2-3 hours of hike to the canyons. Completely different landscape from what you will in the morning just about 50 km away. After a good hike we will continue driving and arrive in Kyzart village, overnight and dinner at Kyrgyz family. Day 5: Kyzart, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will drive toward to Kyrzart as far as we can get about 12-15 km and start hiking to Song Kul lake via Tuz Ashuu pass at alt 3400m above sea level. Picnic on the way. Car will drive around and meet you after the pass or in the yurt camp, depending on time. Dinner and overnight in Yurt camp.
Day 6: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will start to Tash Rabat via 33 parrots pass or Moldo Ashuu pass. Arrive in Naryn have lunch and continue to Tash Rabat Caraven Sarai from 15th centery. Arrive in Tash Rabat visit the caravan sarai and check in Guest House. Dinner and overnight in Guest House or yurts.
Day 7: Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan to Naryn, Kyrgyzstan
Morning breakfast and we will start hiking to Tash Rabat Pass at alt 4000m above sea level. We will try to reach as far as we can. Last part of the trek is very steep and hard. Hike along the river beautiful spots for the photos, lots of animals, yaks, marmots and cows. Picnic in a nature and down back to yurt camp to drive to Naryn. Dinner and overnight in Naryn
Day 8: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan
Today we will drive to Yssyk Kul lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world, the pearl of Tien Shan Ranges. We will drive on the south shore and stay for overnight in Bokonbaevo village where we will meet with Eagle Man and his Eagles. We will see the hunting demonstrations with his eagle, Hunting with the Eagles were our traditional way of hunting. Lunch on the way or in Bokonbaevo when we arrive. Dinner and overnight with Kyrgyz family.
Day 9: Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast will start exploring the south shore gems, visiting fairytale canyons and mini hike at the canyons, visiting barskoon waterfall and hike up to the waterfalls, with great views for the photos, visiting Jeti Oguz (seven Bulls and broken heart). Few kilometers but different views with different landscapes. Lunch on the way and arrive in Karakol. Karakol is one of the famous touristic destinations. Visit Karakol bazaar, Russian Orthodox Church and Chinese Muslim Mosque in Karakol, try special food Ashlanfu and check in hotel or Guest House. Dinner at restaurant and overnight in Karakol.
Day 10: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Trek to Sirota: Morning breakfast in hotel and transfer to the trekking point and start our trek into Karakol gorge and cross the river to hike up to Sirota camp. Picnic on the way and arrive in Sirota, set up the tents and enjoy the beauty there until the dinner. Dinner around camp fire and overnight in the tents. 5-6h trek, highest point 2900m, Karakol is at 1750m.
Day 11: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Kyrgyzstan
Trek to Altyn Arashan: Trek: Sirota – Ala Kul – Altyn Arashan: After breakfast we will start the trek to Altyn Arashan via the most amazing lake Ala Kul at alt 3500m above sea level. And continue trekking to cross the pass at alt 3900m above sea level. Fabulous panoramic views. Picnic somewhere on the way in nature and continue hiking down to Altyn Arashan. Arrive in Yurt camp and swim in hot spring pools after a long trek. Dinner and overnight in Yurt camp. 6/8h trekking. 18-20km (highest point 3840m (up/down 1050m)
Day 12: Altyn-Arashan, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Trek back to Karakol: Trek: Altyn Arashan – Karakol: Morning breakfast and up to your wishes swim in a natural hot spring pools and hike down to Karakol, 15km to hike and 20km transfer to Karakol, arrive in Karakol and check in hotel. After shower we will visit Orthodox Church, Chinese Muslim Dungan Mosque and Karakol Bazaar to try special food Ashlam Fu. Dinner and overnight in Hotel. 4h trek, down 15km Karakol at alt 1745m and transfer to karakul
Day 13: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will drive back to Bishkek by the Northern shore of Yssyk Kul lake. Lunch on the way at restaurant in Cholpon Ata, visit open-air petroglyphs and continue driving. Long drive after a great journey. Arrive in Bishkek early evening and check in hotel. Rest for a bit and farewell dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel
Day 14: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Transfer to airport: flight back home with great memories in Kyrgyzstan.
