Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Aktau, Kazakhstan to Bozzhyra View Point 7, Kazakhstan
Meet at the hotel Karakiya Depression upper panorama Kyzylkup tract - hiking through the hills Boszhyra tract (upper 3 panoramas) Overnight in Ethnoaul At the beginning of the route, we'll visit the Karakiya Depression's upper observation deck. Afterward, we'll visit the Kyzylkup tract. We'll go on a hiking tour through the Kyzylkup Mountains. The Kyzylkup tract, or Tiramisu (as it's popularly known because of its cake-like appearance), is more than just a collection of ancient chalk hills.A veritable kaleidoscope of natural colors that enliven the Mangystau steppe. Next, we'll head to the Bozzhyra tract on the upper plateau and visit three upper observation decks with unusual landscapes resembling another planet. A full lunch with beautiful views, hot tea, coffee, and sweets will be served at one of the panoramic views. Afterwards we will go to Ethnoaul for the night.
Day 2: Airakty, Shetpe, Kazakhstan to Torysh Valley, Ulanak, Kazakhstan
Shomanay Valley (Castle Valley) Sherkala Kokkala Valley of Balls Airakty Shomanay (Valley of Castles) The area around Airakty resembles a mysterious desert city with ruined outcrops that resemble towers and castles with spires. Sherkala Sherkala is a solitary mountain of unusual shape. Viewed from one side, it resembles a huge white yurt, but from the other, Sherkala resembles a sleeping lion, resting its enormous head on its paws.The name Sherkala comes from Persian, meaning Lion Fortress or Lion Fortress. Kokkala Tract The tract is famous for its bizarre erosions of variegated and colored clays and the mountain gorge with spring water located in the immediate vicinity. The Kokkala Tract is a unique time tunnel back to the Jurassic period.which existed more than 140 million years ago. The Karatau mountain fold, rising from the bowels of the Earth, lifted layers that were buried under a thick layer of ocean sediments. Torysh The area is also known as the Valley of Balls due to the spherical concretions found on the surface, ranging in diameter from 1015 cm to 4 meters. These concretions, 40 to 60 million years old, formed on the floor of the ancient Tethys Ocean.
