Make a pilgrimage to holy sites:
Zangiata mausoleum in Tashkent region, the place, where were buried Muslim holy sheikh Ay-Khodja and his spouse Ambar Bibi, patron of fertility and motherhood.
Bukhara – pilgrimage to the holy places of Sufism and visit to the burial places of Seven Sufi Saints, the mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshband, the founder of the Naqshbandi Sufi order.
Samarkand –visit the necropolis of Shahi-Zinda where the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad, Kussam ibn Abbas was buried; visit the Memorial Complex of Imam Al-Bukhari, one of the major places of pilgrimage in Uzbekistan.
Termez –discover the main holy place of this city - the mausoleum of Al-Hakim at-Termizi, the religious leader, scientist, and the founder of the dervish order.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ташкент, Узбекистан
Tashkent arrival Flight from homeland to Tashkent. Our team will welcome you at Tashkent International Airport. Transfer to the hotel, for the rest of the day you will have free time. Overnight at hotel
Day 2: Ташкент, Узбекистан
Tashkent (visits) Breakfast at the hotel. The sightseeing program in Tashkent includes: visit the complex of Khast-i-Imam (reconstructed in 2007), the religious center of Tashkent. Architectural ensemble includes several constructions, built-in XVI-XIX cc.; madrasa and mausoleum of Barak Khan, which is nowadays the spiritual center of Muslims of Central Asia, with the mufti on the head, KaffalShashi mausoleum (tomb of Islam Poets of the empty name and philosopher who lived 904-979.), the Friday mosque and the madrasa MoyieMubarek, where you can see the most ancient Coranof VII cc. Lunchtime. In the afternoon visit Mausoleum of Sheikh Zainuddin-Bobo. Then you will visit the Zangiata complex. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel
Day 3: Ташкент, Узбекистан to Бухара, Узбекистан
Early breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Rail station to take fast speed train “Afrosiab” to Bukhara, which is well known as a land of 7 Piirs (teachers). Departure at 8:00, arrival at 11:47.Transfer to the hotel to leave the luggage (check-in at 14:00). Lunchtime. Make a pilgrimage to places, situated in the outskirts of Bukhara, where Seven Sufi scholars were buried. Visit the tomb of Abduholiq Gijduvaniy (1103-1179) located in the town of Gijduvan (40 km away from Bukhara); the tomb of Gijduvaniy’s fourth apprentice –Khoja Muhammad Orif Ar Revgariy, known as Hazrat Khoja Orif Mohitobon. (The location of the holy place is in the district of Shofirkon 50-60 km from the center of Bukhara). Going on to visit the burial site of Hodja Mahmud Anjir Fagnaviy (died in 1286) and Mausoleum of Khoja Ali Rometaniy (apprentice of Khoja Mahmud Anjir Fagnaviy), located in Rometan district. Continue to visit the burial place of Hodja Mukhammad Boboyi Samosiy (1259-1354), an apprentice of Hodja Ali Rometaniy. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Бухара, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue pilgrimage: visit the next holy site, the tomb of Hazrat Said Mir Kulol (1287-1370). The last pilgrimage place will be the holiest ensemble of Bukhara, the memorial complex of Hazrati Bakhouddin Naqshbandi – the founder of the Naqshbandiya Order, located in the village of Qasri Orifon. Lunchtime. Then you will visit Chor –Bakr Necropolis, a complex located in Sumiton village, and the Mausoleum of Aby Khafs Kabir. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Бухара, Узбекистан to Самарканд, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Samarkand. En-route make stops and visit the Memorial Complex of Imam Al-Bukhari, the great theologian of the East, who collected and recorded about 600 thousand hadith, sayings of the Prophet. Besides, al-Bukhari selected as “flawless” about 7400 hadith to include into the famous “As-Sahih” which became the second most important book after the Koran for the majority of Sunni. Lunchtime. The next visit to the holy place is a few kilometers away from the complex of Imam al-Bukhari, the burial place of Hazrat Makhdumi A'zam Dahbediy (1461-1542), a Sufi philosopher, and a descendent of Hazrat Ali. Upon arrival in Samarkand, transfer and check in to the hotel. You will have some free time for personal discovery of the city. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Самарканд, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Start the pilgrimage from the visit of Khodja Ubaydullah Akhror Vali Ensemble, (died in 1490, this famous person, being the leader of the Sufi order Naqshbandiya, had an influence on the development of the political life in the region. He was honored not only by common people but also was considered as the spiritual leader of many rulers of that time), Khoja al Mansoor al Matrudi, Burkhonoddin Margiloni, Bibi Khanum Mosque the best architects and artisans of Khorossan, Azerbaijan, Persia, and India were involved to the construction of the largest mosque in Central Asia in XIV c., Shakhi Zinda Ensemble with more than 20 buildings, built from early XI up to XIV cc. Each mausoleum has its own style of decoration and great fantasy of skillful artisans. Lunchtime. After, you will visit Hazrat Hyzr Mosque. In the afternoon visit magnificent Reguistan Square, surrounded by its three madrasas, the madrasa Ulugbek (XV c.), the Sher-Dor madrasa (XVII c.), and Tillya Kori with his golden mosque (XVII century.). End the sightseeing tour with a visit to Gur Emir Mausoleum – the family crypt of the great dynasty of Tamerlane, with a finely ribbed dome and decorated with paper-maché inside). Dinner time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Самарканд, Узбекистан to Термез, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning drive to Kitob and visit Mausoleums of Sheikh Darwesh Mohammad as-Samarqandi and Mohammad Imkanky. Lunchtime. In the afternoon continue driving to Termez via Sherobod and visit Imam Termizi. Upon arrival in Termez, visit Mausoleum of Al-Hakim at Termizi, the main holy place of Termez, also known as Muhammad ibn `Isa at-Tirmidhi. This architectural monument was built to the north-west of the old Termez castle. Abu Abdulloh Mohammed Ibn Hasan ibn Bashir al-Hakim at-Termizi was the author of a number of religious-philosophical works, a religious leader, an outstanding theorist of Islamic mysticism and a prominent scholar and was the founder of the dervishes order. Transfer and check in to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel
Day 8: Термез, Узбекистан to Ташкент, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning drive to Denau and visit the Mausoleums of Hazrat Alauddin ibn Mukhammad Atari al-Bukhari (son-in-law of Bakhauddin Nakshbandi), Khazrat Khodja Khasan Attor (grandson of Bakhauddin Nakshbandi, son of Alauddin Attor), Khodja Yusuf ibn Khodja Khasan Attor ibn Alauddin Attor (grandson of Bakhauddin Nakshbandi) and Sheikh Mohammad Zahid. Lunchtime. After drive back to Termez. Transfer to the airport and to flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
