Visiting to Eagle hunters family and staying in the yurt, experiencing the daily life of Kazakh nomads.( Kazakh national meals and drinks, hand made dairy products, making process of them. Milking a cows, horses, sheep and goats. Handicrafts and colourful decorations inside yurt.) Riding a horse. Visiting to the Altai Tavan Bogd national park, Sirgali valley, Khoton and Khurgan lakes, Baga Turgen waterfall, Tsagaan gol (White river), Green lake, Altai Mountains and Potanin Glaser.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Ulgii, Mongolia
Day 1. Early in the morning transfer to the airport. Arrive Olgii, where the our team will meet you at the airport. After breakfast we set off. Our first stop will be through 200 km Sirgali valley, summer camp of nomads. Visit to the Kazakh Eagle hunters family. Acquaintance with the unique tradition hunting with golden eagles and other traditions and customs of the Kazakh people and the daily life of a nomads. Try the national tea with milk and natural dairy products. Overnight in the eagle hunter's family. B.L.D.
Day 2: Sirgali military base, Mongolia to Baga turgen khurkheree, Mongolia
Day 2. Today after breakfast we will have a walking tour about 5 km to the Baga Turgen valley and hike to see the beautiful waterfal. Eagle hunters family homestay. B.L.D.
Day 3: Baga turgen khurkheree, Mongolia to Khoton Lake, Mongolia
Day 3. Today we will drive to the Khoton lake and visit to the small mountain, which is covered with petroglyphs. Great sandy beach, with a beautiful view of the Mongolian Altai. Overnight with eagle hunters family. B.L.D
Day 4: Khoton Lake, Mongolia to Алтай таван богд цагаан голын пост, Mongolia
Day 4. Drive to the Tsagaan gol (White river)valley, which is the summer camps of the Tuvan people. On the way we will see historical monuments like Stone Man from Turkic age. Visit the Tuvan family and get acquainted with their daily life, traditions and try milk vodka, which is distilled from yaks milk. Overnight in the Tuvan family. B.L.D
Day 5: Алтай таван богд цагаан голын пост, Mongolia to Potanin Glacier, Mongolia
Day 5. Horse riding to the Potanin Glacier- the largest glacier in Mongolian Altai. (20 km long) and see the snow-covered peaks of Altai Tavan Bogd means “The Holy Five”. They are the Mongolian highest peak Huiten (4373 m ), Naran, Burged, Nairamdal and Machin peaks. Overnight in the Tuvan family. B.L.D
Day 6: Алтай таван богд цагаан голын пост, Mongolia to Толин нуур, Mongolia
Day 6. Today after breakfast we will hike to the Green lake. One more day to experience the nomadic lifestyle. Overnight in Tuvan family. B.L.D.
Day 7: Алтай таван богд цагаан голын пост, Mongolia to Ulgii, Mongolia
Day 7. After breakfast we drive back to Olgii. Visit the local museum, the local black market, and souvenir shops, and another special place for guests of the city is “ Friendship Hill”, where you can see a view of Olgii. The final diner of our tour we will treat you with Kazakh national dish “Beshbarmak", which every hospitable Kazakh people treat their most honored guests. After that you will enjoy the mini concert with the Kazakh national musical instrument Dombira. Overnight in the my home. B.L.D.
Day 8: Ulgii, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Day 8. After breakfast, transfer to Olgii airport and take a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Free day.
