Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Khovd, Mongolia to Tolbo Lake, Mongolia
This day, we meet a traditional Mongolian throat singer and then head to the beautiful Tolbo Lake.
Day 2: Tolbo Lake, Mongolia to Tavan Bogd, Altay Prefecture, Mongolia
On this day, we will drive around 5 hours and visit an eagle hunting family.
Day 3: Tavan Bogd, Altay Prefecture, Mongolia to Malchin Peak, Mongolia
Today includes hiking around the area. We will stay in tents near to Malchin Peak .
Day 4: Malchin Peak, Mongolia to Tavan Bogd, Altay Prefecture, Mongolia
We will go back and stay with the family.
Day 5: Tavan Bogd, Altay Prefecture, Mongolia to Khoton Lake, Mongolia
We will head for Khonton and Khurgan Lake. Today's journey will also take us via Potanin milky river.
Day 6: Khoton Lake, Mongolia to Khurgan Lake, Mongolia
We will hike to Baga Turgenii Khurkheree and then return to our tent.
Day 7: Khurgan Lake, Mongolia
We will stay there, in the beautiful surroundings.
Day 8: Khurgan Lake, Mongolia
More time to relax and take in the magnificent surroundings.
Day 9: Khurgan Lake, Mongolia to Ulgii, Mongolia
We will go to the airport of Ulgii City to fly back to Ulaanbaatar.
