The tour takes 7 days to cover one of the best travel destinations Western Mongolian in the shortest time with experiencing local culture along with natural beauties. The western part of Mongolia is the most beautiful.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Zavkhan Aimag Museum/Famous People Museum, Uliastai, Mongolia
In the morning, you will be transferred to the city airport for a morning flight to Zavkhan province. Upon arrival at the local airport (Donoi airport), our guide and driver will pick up. After having lunch in Zavkhan some locals restaurants, visit local museums, bazaar which is an open market operating as the biggest trade center for the locals. After we will head to Ulaagchiin Khar Nuur. Overnight in tents.
Day 2: Ulaagchiin Khar Lake, Mongolia to Mukhartiin Gol, Erdenekhairkhan, Mongolia
After breakfast, our next destination is a Mukhartiin Gol. Mukhart River starts silently flowing from the bottom of the Bor Khyar Sand dunes the 400 meter high. There is a unique natural landscape, with sandy waters like a sandy semicircular amphitheater. You can go short hiking a river. Overnight in a Tent.
Day 3: Mukhartiin Gol, Erdenekhairkhan, Mongolia to Bayannuur, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will drive towards to Bayannuur. This beautiful freshwater lake is located in the north of the Bor Khyariin Els sand dune, with a 59 km shoreline (36 miles). We will stop picnic lunch and photos on the way. Overnight in tents.
Day 4: Bayannuur, Mongolia to Hyargas Nuur, Mongolia
After breakfast, keep going to Khyargas lake. Khyargas lake, the 4th biggest lake in Mongolia, During summertime, this lake is a very good place for swimming and sunbathing. A group of wonderful rocky cliffs with 20-25 m relative altitudes, called Khetsuu Khad, are on the southeast shore and some of them look like islands that give a wonderful view. Many birds gather in these rocky cliffs. Stay overnight tent.
Day 5: Khyargas Lake, Mongolia to Uvs Nuur, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will drive to Uvs province and Uvs Lake. Uvs Lake, Central Asian largest mineral lake surrounded by Buurug Deliin Els sand in east and southeast parts, and its other areas are surrounded by rocky steppes. Lunch in a local restaurant in a big town. Stay overnight tent.
Day 6: Uvs Nuur, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will toward driving to Uvs city for 20km and direct flight to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 7: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
City tour and Gobi cashmere Activity: Gandan monastery-Museum of Mongolian National History-Parliament House-Bogd Khan Palace museum- Zaisan Hill.
