My partner and I had a fantastic and memorable 6-day road trip in the Gobi and Central Mongolia, thanks to Bilguun’s excellent organisation and colleagues. The booking process was easy and accommodating and Bilguun was able to customise our itinerary to fit in both the Gobi Desert and the Khustai National Park in Central Mongolia, both of which are full of astonishing landscapes, scenery and wildlife and with friendly locals at all of the ger and family-run tour camps. The stand out for us in the tour was the time spent with our guide, Sumiyabazar and driver, Uuriintuya. Sumiya was a thoughtful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and approachable guide. He made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed at all times but also went out of his way to find out more information if we had trickier questions. He also managed to organise decent vegetarian food for us at all of the stops which is an impressive feat in a meat-heavy country. Uuri was an incredible driver. He managed to keep us moving over large distances and kept the van running. He also was a friendly presence and has an excellent pair of eyes, managing to spot takhi (Przewalski’s horses) on a distant mountainside in what was a highlight of the whole trip. We had a wonderful 7-day tour, including 4 days horse riding, organised by Bilguun. Even though the first horse riding day was tough, we enjoyed the trip very much. The landscape was just breathtaking. The Yurts were comfortable, the food was good (they even catered for my "vegetarian daughter"), our driver skilful and the horses were exactly matching our riding skills. Overall, the trip was very well organised. A special praise to our wonderful guide Nwmdavaa for his explanations, translations and the kindness and politeness he displayed throughout the trip. Absolutely recommended.

My wife and I took a six-day trip to Central Mongolia organized by Bilguun, which allowed us to visit the Elsen Tasarkhai Desert (Mini Gobi), the Orkhon Valley, the city of Kharkhorin, and Khustai National Park. Beyond the beautiful places and endless landscapes, what stole our hearts most were the Mongolian people: their warm welcome, the sharing of daily activities, delicious food, games, laughter, and horseback riding through rivers and valleys with them. We don’t know where to start, so we say THANK YOU! It topped all of our expectations! Bilguun was always replying fast, answerd all our question and was the best operator we ever had! We felt more than safe and seen all the time 🫶🏼 Every little request we had was he tried to fulfill. It was such an amazing experience and we would love to book another tour with Bilguun. We (two girls, 23 and 30 y/o) did the 5-days-tour. Our guide and driver have been the best we could have imagined! They answered all our questions, have been super professional but also a lot of fun and could laugh all together. We did a lot together but we also had enough relaxing-time for ourselves. Our 6-Day Gobi Desert Tour 🌵 My dad and I had a really great trip through the Gobi Desert area and enjoyed Mongolia’s beautiful nature very much. It was an amazing experience that we will remember for a long time 🥹✨ Sumi, our guide, was fantastic. He is very attentive, has a lot of knowledge about every attraction and also about Mongolia beyond the usual tourist information. His English is very good, and he has an incredibly mindful and calm way of being that made us feel comfortable at all times 😊 And Chuka, our driver, not only brought us safely through the beautiful and sometimes challenging landscapes, but also shaped the journey through his personality 😊 We really enjoyed having both of them with us and shared many good moments along the way. Bilguun planned the trip so thoughtfully and was always checking in through WhatsApp about our well-being during the trip. At every step, it felt easy and comfortable to communicate with him. Just got back home after a fabulous and memorable 20 day trip in Mongolia !! Thanks to Bilguun for curating an exciting itinerary. From day 1 of contacting him months ago, he has been in touch constantly - asking, listening, suggesting and executing with seamless professionalism. We were fans of his kindness and warmth even before we met him. It was 20 days of varied jaw dropping landscapes and flora and fauna and everchanging weathers. Of various new cuisines and people and ways of life and experiences. And to sail us through it all were Serje-our patient, kind, alert, sensitive, caring and knowledgeable guide, and Togi-the quiet, sturdy and skillful driver. While Serje eased us into the ever changing land of Mongolia with stories and food and people, Togi glided through every terrain and showed us that nothing is impossible. The trio gave us the best 20 days of our lives and we came back home with their infectious kindness and smiles !! A Mongolian vacation is a no brainer .... just go for it !!

It was a great experience, to visit the center of Mongolia in 5 days. Its definitely worth the price. We could do so many things, as horseriding or camelriding, the food was delicious and to stay with local families was exciting. The car is very cosy and we had a great and experienced driver and a good informed guide.

Honestly everything was absolutely perfect. I had visited Central Asia before and always travelled independently but felt Mongolia needed an experienced guide and driver. It was the best travel decision I have ever made, and Indy Guide was the perfect trusted option. I organised the tour with Bilgun from Ulaanbataar. He allowed us to customise the tour slightly to add the Chinggis Khan statue for a tiny fee. We could contact Bilgun at any time on WhatsApp if we had any questions and he kept us well informed on uodates. On the day of the tour the team came to pick us up from our apartment. Bilgun, Togi and Serjee were waiting for us next to a beautiful UAZ russian van. I didn't realise this would be the vehicle we were traveling in so it was an even better surprise as it's always been my dream to do a roadtrip in one. Bilgun waved us off and we embarked on the best five day trip ever. Togi and Serjee were the best team. Serjee drove tirelessly over Mongolian 'roads' and steppe, whilst Togi talked to us for hours about everything you can think of. We became really good friends with them both and enjoyed days together driving, lunches and pitstops together, meals in family Gers together, and on the last night we had a great night sharing a meal and some drinks at Ugi Lake. We feel so lucky and privileged to have had these interactions and has truly made Mongolia stand out on our tour around Asia. Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer tour together ! We have already decided will will revisit Mongolia in the future and meet with our new friends 🩷 The tour included everything it states. We stayed with two different families, and on the last night at a tourist ger camp with a hot shower. Food was wonderful everywhere we stayed and they even provided different meals for me as I don't eat red meat, which I really appreciate and didn't expect. If you're visiting Mongolia I truly recommend traveling with Bilgun and his team of professionals. It's worth every penny and you'll have treasured memories for life. Thank you all 🩷

One of the best tours we've been on. Bilguun was fantastic with organizing communicating information about the tour and was prompt with answering questions. The tour was amazing, we had Torgi and Mitica as our guides and they were incredible. Staying in gers with local familes was great and the families and Torgi and Mitica were so welcoming and kind. Horse riding through the orkhon valley was quite special as was getting to know Torgi, Mitica and the families. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Pros: Due to the lack of reviews, I was quite skeptical with indyguide and with this tour. (I was told this was due to covid). However, not to worry. You are in safe hands with this tour. Bilguun made us feel safe throughout the whole trip. Also the guide Serjei and driver Toogi - (couple) who stayed with us for the whole trip were lovely and kept us safe. This was especially important as we were two young females travelling. The trip was exactly what we wanted. You get to experience living the nomadic life away from the main tourist spots. Beautiful stars at night, horse and camel riding with the local families, off-road adventures, meeting the lovely local families and the children, Mongolian food and of course the beautiful scenery outlined in the description. The best part was the fact that we just slided into the families lives so you can see their daily life without anything being altered for the guests. The nomad families were very caring and lovely. We really enjoyed our time with them. Any questions or problems, you can just ask the guide or directly communicate to Bilguun and he will help you. Bilguun also kindly arranged a tour for me outside the main tour for a reasonable price which was nice. Overall, I recommend this tour! Just a few things to keep in mind below. Cons You don’t end up doing all the activities listed in the description. For example, we did not do cooking, milking yaks or try traditional clothes. If I paid for this tour, it should be a must for these activities to run or at least offer it to us. We initially decided on this tour based on these activities so this was quite disappointing as this is what we pay for. Day 4 at Ugi Lake was quite boring so make sure to bring something to do! Also, the communication with Bilguun was overall good but you have to ask him for the information. For example, what time the tour will start, payment methods and must bring items. If this was communicated better, we could’ve prepared more thoughtful gifts for the nomad families (We felt bad as we felt that we didn't prepare enough/suitable gifts for them - We were unaware we were going to two different homes) or our own personal hygiene (you don’t get to wash for 3 days - which was expected but was still unsure, so be prepared). Also, I know it’s a business, but everything felt too calculative right to the end. So make sure to not give all your heart! (and to be calculative as well). There were few things we sacrificed.. like our time...outside the tour... so make to just think of yourself when deciding on things. I think if the staff members of this tour presented a less calculative attitude (or at least pretend), it could've maintained a better ongoing long term and positive relationship for any future travels or recommendations to friends. A simple, “How was everything?” when meeting face to face at the end would’ve been a nice gesture. Overall, the trip was good but once again, the last attitude of staff members towards the client was a little disappointing on our end :( However, that is just the small part!!! I still highly recommend this tour! We had an amazing time. You won't regret!

A wonderful experience. Bilguun are exceptional people. We can not recommend them enough. Everything was perfect. Bilguun is a great communicator with lots of experience and passion for detail. We felt so welcomed and like travelling with friends. Watching our driver Baggi handle the russian Buchanka 4WD bus on dirt roads and and steep mountains was like watching an artist. This man knows how to drive. And our lovely guide Gunschi was so charming. She knew exactly how to help and make our trip unforgettable. We deeply fell in love with Mongolia and its people because of these guys. Thank you.

This trip was brilliant. Booked last minute and really swift answers from Bilguun. The accommodations were clean and a perfect mix between places with available shower and not. The knowledge that Mr Bilguun has is very impressive in terms of history which makes it perfect to learn about different area, animals, buddhism, etc. A massive thumbs up as well for the van of our driver Togy, which was perfect for the long drive on off road. I am excited to book again with them for a tour on the Western tip of Mongolia. Before I forget, I ate like a queen. I am vegetarian and they managed to cook tasty and various dish for me, always with fresh fruits and vegetables. If I had to mention one negative thing, it would be to be more aware of the consumption of plastic bags/bottles used ... waste management in every country is difficult so the biggest thing we can do, is to reduce the amount of plastic we buy or use unnecessary. Little mort effort on this side and it would have been more than a perfect trip.

Decent professional guide with perfect English, who not only knows, respects and is proud of Mongolian culture and the way of life, but is also fully capable to show it in great detail to his guests. Thanks to Bilguun I have fulfilled my dream and saw the mesmerizing Gobi sand dunes, infinitely wide steppes, beautiful mountains and ice glaciers, ancient and modern Buddist monasteries, rode horses and camels, lived in the Ger under open sky and shared bread and tea with ordinary Mongolian nomadic families. Everything was really well organised and planned, starting from the communication online before the trip and ending with picking us up from the airport and driving to the hotel on our way back. To my great surprise our guide turned out to be an excellent cook. I am going to miss his delicious dinners in the middle of nowhere (pure magic). We also had an excellent driver, who despite knowing only a few words in English, was a true character with some contageous laugh and much fun to have around. I thank our guide for hard work and wish prosperity in all future endeavours.

My sister and I booked a six day round trip to Gobi Gurwan Saichan. Bilguun was very professional from planning to implementing the trip. He always showed us the best spots and walked the extra mile where others would not go further. His attention to detail and guiding skills were amazing and Togis driving as smooth as it can be on Mongolia`s roads. They made us feel comfortable along the whole trip and it was an absolute pleasure to travel with both of them! Also, they cooked amazing vegetarian food all week! Last, but not least - since I for my part miss traveling with them already - I can only highly recommend to anyone else who considers booking a tour with Bilguun.

Excellent tour operator. The 18 day tour was beyond my expectations. Bilguun is knowledgeable and speaks perfect Engli The van was comfortable and the families we stayed with were hospitable and the interactions with them, participating in their way of life was very meaningful to me. One of the most memorable I have ever travelled.

I travel twice in Mongolia an always with Bilguun. Everything was well organised and all services were excellent. First time I was in Gobi dessert and second travel to the western regions. Couldn`t be better. Our guide (Bilguun) was very professional and speaks perfect good English. The driver was always alert and professional too, taking care of the van and driving safely. Two weeks ago, i arrived to Mongolia with no specific plans ahead. Then, i reached to Bilguun, and asked if they had some tours that i could join. It ended up just perfect. They offered me 2nights and 3 days tour in Khugnu-Tarna natural reserve. It was an amazing landscape where there were sand dunes, trees, rocky mountains, grass land, and even a river. I stayed with a local nomad family in this beautiful nature, and helped with their daily activities (fetching water, herding goats, playing with the kids, milking cows). We also explored the area on horseback for a whole day. I should say i have always dreamed of riding horses in an open steppe. So to me, it was like a dream come true. I loved the silent night with billions of stars. I felt something very unique and natural. Having no specific plans, i had everything worked out very well to me. I am already planning my next visit to Mongolia. Thank you Bilguun and team!

We booked the 7D-6N tour. We were accomodated at the Shangri-La Hotel. We were picked up at the airport on time by our driver and guide, Bilguun, for the next 7 days. We were brought to our hotel. We could choose to just relax or start the tour immediately. I decided to visit Ulaanbaatar area first. Our guide had great knowledge and his English was good. An Australian guy I met at Ulaanbaatar even asked to join me cause he didn`t understand his guide and Bilguun he understood very well! ,) So the next 7 days the Australian guy accompagnied us. The first evening dinner was included: a buffet dinner. Meanwhile we could enjoy a Ulaanbaatar night show. Afterwards the driver brought us back to the hotel. Then the next morning our tour begins. 1st day was driving on paved road smoothly seeing Mongolian wilderness from our van as we drove and asked whenever and wherever we want to stop to take picture or to go to restrooms which entirely was so nice that they did it with no problem at all. The service of Bilguun was spotless!

We enjoyed a lot our trip to Bayan Olgyi to attend the eagles festival. From the hand of Bilguun and Toggi we discovered the inmensity of Mongolia, the life with local nomads living in Gers and the astonishing eagles competition. All perfect as perfect was the information and support from these both coleagues. Quite recommendable the experience !!

We had only one day for the tour and still wanted to see both nature scenery and stars in the night. However, Bilguun made a wonderful plan for us according to our expectations. The tour was fascinating. We went to see a small festival of Naadam in countryside which we went through very hard road. The driver drove very softly, but fast on the road which had many small holes. His driving technique was awesome. Naadam was very interesting. Even we enjoyed treking in the national park and horse-riding. Moreover, when the tour of star gazing, Bilguun brought a good telescope which we could gaze beautiful stars and full moon. In addition, Bilguun took care of us very nicely. He is kind, soft-speaking and caring. It was lucky of us to come across such a good tour guide. I appreciate it. Since we went to see the festival during lunch time, the option for a meal was limited. If there is more option for a meal, that would be great. Thank you.
