Hi, my nickname is Gandus. I’m a keen traveler myself, so guiding tourists for me is not just for living, but most of all it’s a passion. By the background, I’m a Medical Doctor, but done a career change in 2018 and since then - I’m a tour guide. Despite the downshift, I do not have regrets and really enjoy my job. By now I have a good network of local drivers and guides, so I work with a crew other people serving the tourists. Good knowledge of English and few more languages such as Russian, Japanese as well as having lived in different parts of the globe such as UK, USA, Poland, Russia, Hungary, Japan and the previous interaction with people of many cultures and interests does really help in my guiding work. I believe that being very communicative, flexible and open-minded is crucial for my job. To became a tour guide I have completed related training which included learning a lot about Mongolia and still now I continue to learn: I try to provide to our tourist as much and interesting information about Mongolia so that they will feel the excitement and satisfaction during their trip. In addition, I am a savvy technology and gadget user and enjoy all travel-related things including hiking and taking pictures.
