The tour with Ghani and driver Ned was amazing! We did a 10-day roundtrip and visited places like Almaty, Altyn-Emel, Kolsai Lakes, Karakol, Issyk-Kul, Song-Kul, Bishkek and many more. Each place had its own charm, and Ghani ensured we made the most of our time there. Ghani speaks really good English and is very knowledgeable about the regions we explored. He shared interesting historical facts and answered our questions, making the trip educational and enjoyable and he is also very funny so you will have a great time together! The tour was very well-organized, we had good communication before we booked the tour and Ghani made a great effort to customize the trip to our preferences. We got to experience the local culture, landscape and cuisine and had delicious vegetarian food (which is very uncommon for someone to have in this region). The accommodations were a good mix of basic to upscale and always met our needs. All in all, I can highly recommend Ghani and I think he is an excellent choice as a tour guide and planner for anyone who wants to explore Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Ghani has excellent language skills, including English. Ghani's tour program is well-rounded and the price is reasonable. One problem is that Ghani's car is old and has several defects. Probably because he has to drive over rough terrain and the climate is bad. Other guides This problem will also appear often. We also traveled in a desert area in a very hot summer, and Ghani's car suffered a lot because the air conditioner did not work. We talked to Ghani about this problem and exchanged him for an air conditioned car the next day. We spent the rest of the itinerary comfortably in a nice car with his little brother. He was very kind, and a good photographer. I believe that Ghani will develop more and more in the future. Ghani hisself will think hard to provide good service. If you're booking a Ghani tour, double check the car. We trust Ghani.

Everything went well until the car broke down TWICE. The supposed to be exciting tour became a nightmare. The tour guide didn’t even know how to fix his car and left us alone in the middle of the national park with his broken car. We lost 2 days because of this. I think he is not capable. He doesn’t know anything about being a ‘tour guide’ and he’s lazy. He put our life in danger. Ghani's response: 1. Car has broken, but anyway, car was given and you visited Altyn Emel(all places) for free. You didn't pay for Altyn Emel. 2. Nobody left you in the middle of the national park. The guide brought another car. 3. How could the guide leave you alone in the middle of the national park, if the next morning after visiting Altyn Emel, the new car arrived and you continue the tour with a big personal discount? 4. You didn't lose 2 days. The car has broken. This day anyway Altyn Emel was made for you. After Altyn Emel, the next day in the morning a new car arrived. You visited more places than in the program. And again with a big discount. 5. I don't know, why you wrote such a negative review. I tried my best to solve the car situation and overcompensate it. We also continued chatting after the tour and I helped you for your trip to Kyrgyzstan. I was surprised and disappointed by this review.

Ghani was an incredible tour guide. I only had one day to see three places and he was incredibly accommodating and made the best of a busy day! He was very engaging, welcoming, and funny. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a fantastic day seeing and learning about Kazakhstan!

Ghani was a great tour guide for our trip around the Almaty region. He was very knowledgeable about the country and culture and spoke great English. He was also flexible and we were able to extend our trip by two days at short notice. We were able to see everything we wanted, and got to experience traditional Kazakh culture and delicious food through staying at his chosen Guest houses. He had a very reliable car and was able to drive through the tricky roads safely. Would definitely recommend him as a guide :)

We went for the 2 days trip with Ghani and his experience driver. our trip is to kolsay lake and the canyon. We really like the stay in the village with the local. the Local prepares a lot of delicious food for us. despite it is cold , still we enjoy the amazing scenery. We respect the professional service from Ghani and his driver who is experience hiker. Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend Ghani. He makes sure that his guests are safe and comfortable. He is reliable and sincere. Oh, and jolly and funny too! He knows their country`s history very well and tell stories about the location you are visiting or as you pass by the area. He even cooked tasty grilled chicken which was a bonus! :)

Everything was fine, I enjoyed the trip a lot! I joined spontaneously and everything went smoothly, thanks a lot!

Best tour ever! You won`t regret if you choose to travel with ghani. He is suuuuper funny, sincere guide who tells you about kazak`s history and culture with his fluent english. I choose 4 days almaty tour and he led us to many great photo-spots(not only famous canyons and lakes but also other AMAZING places). He is also willing to help u when u need horse riding or experiencing russian sauna called banya. Communication with Ghani was very good at every stage. Unfortunately, we had no please to travel with him but his cooperative. All in all that was positive experience but with some issues which Ghani was able to professionally sort out. In that sense I can confirm Ghani is reliable and trustworthy person I recommend both Kazakhstan and Kyrygyzstan as they are beautiful and unique countries, also save some time for party in Almaty - you will love it. Communicating with Ghani, seeing how he dealt with our issues and seeing his relations and reading other`s reviews I regret that this time we did not travel with him but his friend Salamat who to certain extent made our trip not fully comfortable and as agreed.

We went in a two days tour to Charyn and Kolsai lakes with Ghani and everything was great! He is a super kind guy that told us a lot of interesting things about his country, brought us to special places and has taken care of us. One of the best guide we have ever had! One of the most valuable things was his sense of humour! We recommend him 200%!

Being Young Girls travelling to this foreign Country we were quite thankful of Ghani taking so much care of us!! He planned an amazing ten-days-trip after we had given him our ideas and wishes, everything was exactly as we have hoped. The fact that is fluent in English made communicating with him really easy. Don`t be scared of his overwhelming attitude, he just tries to Show you the Kazakh culture and hospitality. We are very thankful for everything we experienced with him.

It is the first using indy-guide & travñing KAZ, but we were 100% satisfied with Ghani. Even we booked 12hrs before the start of traveling, he was so kind and friendly. The trip schedule and his guides were perfect for us. We got happiness memories in Almaty bcz of Ghani’s guide. If i have a chance traveling KAZ again, i will call Ghani directly. Thanks a lot!!!

Unfortunately Ghani was not able to take us but we traveled with Timur and Aimar and they were fantastic guides. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful at all times. We owe our great experience to having these two with us. Thanks to Ghani for organizing the itinerary, hopefully get a chance to explore more of the area again!

We did a tour that included Charyn Canyon, Kolsai Lake, Kaindy Lake and Black Canyon over two days with Ghani as our guide and driver. Ghani was very friendly and easy to talk to. He spoke great English and asked many questions about our trip and Sweden as a country, also educated us in Kazakh traditions and culture resulting in many interesting discussions during our two days. The tour felt more like a road trip with a Kazakh friend than an actual tour due to his friendliness. The accommodation in Saty was basic but good enough for a nights sleep. The family that owned the house was very kind and they made us breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of them were central Asian dishes, and very delicious There is a possibility to swim at Charyn River, Kolsai Lake and Kaindy Lake, so do not forget to bring your swimming gear if you would like try (must warn you though, it is very cold even if Ghani seems to enjoy it haha.) All in all, two great days with Ghani, really recommend him as a guide!

Our tour with Ghani was a great experience. He knows a lot about Almaty region and is a very cheerful and friendly guide. We had a lot of fun on our trip and had very good food (including the Vegetarian in our group). We were greatly hosted by Aynur in Saty Village. Ghani also gave us a lot of useful tips for our stay in Almaty (what to do, good places to eat, taxis etc). Overall, we had an amazing trip and were very happy to have him as our guide. We would definitely recommend him!

Ghani is a wonderful guide. He is a cheerful, respectful and knowledgeable. He was very adaptable and suggested alternative plans to the original one (after a surprise rain storm). We very much enjoyed our trip with him with two young kids, and highly recommend him.

Everything that Ghani had planned for us was fantastic. It was fun to be with him. He knew all the places in the Almaty region. He gave us the best experience of staying in a lovely guest house with Regul Tete in Saty village and an experience of a Russian sauna. Ghani knew some lovely places to eat and since we were vegetarians he went the extra mile if ensuring that we got giod vegetarian food. Ghani is very hospitable, friendly and courteous. He also knowa a lot about the country and very discussed every topic at length. He can help you with guides or taxis at other cities in Kazakhstan as well. Ghani is very cheerful as well. In short he made our trip very memorable. I definitely recommend his services.
