Nazir is an excellent, down to earth and trustworthy guide who has a wealth of experience in Pakistans northern Hunza region. He was extremely flexible and always put my safety first. I like to hike a lot and get off the beaten track and Nazir accommodated this. Nazir is well respected in the region and community which makes the experience traveling with him all the more unique. Highly recommend Nazir if traveling to Hunza region.
Wonderful trip, at top speed but it was the name of the game. Splendid Tours has been very caring, reliable and professional, for example adapting very quickly the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (heavy rain in Gilgit). Rehmat was the best driver possible taking into account the environment and the traffic madness 😊. Overnights were comfortable and welcoming (except in Gilgit, 4 hours to get a towel at the Midway hotel, room visibly undone for my second stay despite what the manager said etc). On the other hand Rainbow hotel and Travelodge in Gulmit and the last stop in Rawalpindi were top notch. All in all it was an amazing trip, thanks to the spotless organisation of Splendid Tours. I will definitely contact them for my next trip to Pakistan and try to convince my pals in Europe and the US to travel there too. Thanks a lot and thumbs up for Nazir and Rehmat !
