We had a wonderful experience with Saidbeck, who organized a two-day trek in Tajikistan for us, including one night camping and two nights in guesthouses. The first guesthouse, in a small mountain village, was very basic and had no running water, but it was a beautiful and authentic experience, made even more special by the kindness and warm hospitality of the hosts. Our guide, Nozir, was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly, making the trek enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, it was a truly wonderful and memorable experience. Saidbek helped me and my friend arranging an amazing experience in Tajikistan fulfilling all our desires in terms of itinerary by arranging a two day leg to Haft Kul and Iskander Kul with home stay in the former and a nice stop at Istaravshan dam monument. After two days we had a second leg of the trip with a daily excursion to the Shrikent Valley with dinosaur footprints. He is not only very good at speaking english, but also a smart and interesting person to talk with on all topics. For the first part of trip our guide was actually an university student surely less expert than him, but still a nice travel companion with a lot of informations. Car was confortable and also choices for restaurants and accomodotation in Haft Kul Valley was the perfect considerinc context. Shirkent valley visit was remarkable with stunning views for most of the hike (unless my riend did not enjoy because of his low hiking-physical skills) :-) On the contrary the footprints themselves weren't much a thing and we could see only from far. Probably we should The only small problem encountered during the three days (except a slide in Haft Kul valley) has been the fact that we loss our driver after the hike for around 30/45 min and we all went around searching for him before he reappered. All in all another part of the adventure and not a Saidbek personal fault! Concluding my review i need to show my appreciation for Saidbek professionalism and wit, actually thanks to the experience he made me live in just three days i am now considering a longer trip/hiking tour in Takistan in future. And for sure i will know who to have again as my guide. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED! P.s. Autumn colours with Tajik cobalt lakes were something heavenly.

We went on a seven-day trip with Saidbek in Tajikistan. I reached out to him and he was accommodating in providing all the details and communicating clearly. This made me feel comfortable that there would be no confusion during the trip/ Day 1: We got picked up by his guide, Hamid (young and energetic), and a driver from the Jartepa ( Uzbekistan and Tajikistan) border. We drove through Panjakent and saw the beautiful Fann mountains and Iskanderkul Lake. Both the driver and Hamid were very professional and made our day enjoyable. Day 2 - Day 7 - We were picked up by Saidbek from our Dushanbe hotel and spent the next six days driving through the Pamir mountains. Our car was changed on Day 3, but that was fine. Both of the drivers drove safely. The second driver, Nizar, was very kind and funny, even though he spoke little English. Saidbek is a native of Pamir. He's very knowledgeable of the Pamir and parts of Tajikistan and Central Asia. We had some interesting conversations during our six days since we were driving from one place to another most of the time. There was a lot of driving during the six days, but we saw beautiful places such as Wakhan Valley and Bulunkul. The homestay hosts were very welcoming and made sure our accommodation was comfortable. I got to hang out with many kids at the guesthouse; they were the cutest. The guesthouse was in Kalaikhumb, and I think it was called Roma Guest House. I highly recommend Saidbek for your next adventure in Tajikistan.

Saidbek was very professional. Our trip to Pamir was amazing. When we needed advise, the comunication with Saidbek was good and fast. Our driver (Nazar) was friendly and a great driver, always on time and careful while driving. The tour satisfied all our request.

I know, that southern Tajikistan is not a touristy place, but we Saidbek made an offer to take us there. I sent him an outline, and waited for some kind of detailed tour description. Some years ago, through this platform I met some really nice guys, who were enthousiastic about their job, and really wanted to do the best, to show us something only a local, who really knows the place can show. I ecpected something lie this, but I feel now deceieted. Mr Siadbek did not work on the program, to make it really good, practically did not do anírthing just hired a driver. We had to find out ourselves what we can do and see there. But the worst -that clearly showed how unreliable and carless person he is, was the visit to Tigrovaya Balka. He had cca 90 days to find out exavtly what kind of permits we need. It would have been quite easy for him to find out - he just should have called the reserve itself. Ha did not do athying. Arranged some permits that rpoved to be useless. I had to scrutinze the net about the Natinal Perks permit, and he went there only after I sent him the adress. That is utterly annoying given that he is the local, and I live thousands of kilometewres from there. Whenever I asked him about exact detalis, he replied stg "I think..." - that means he did not do any research. Thies was our worst experience on IndyGuide, and I wouldn't receommmend him to anybody.

Logistic was not always easy to fix at the beginning, but they both did their best and the result was very good despite a tight schedule. And the trekking path is truly amazing !

The Pamir Highway & mountains - what an adventure! As one would expect, trekking over the “roof of the world” comes with many highs & lows, and Saidbek’s organisation impeccably guided us through both! We were able to enjoy beautiful homestays, met the kindest shepherds and tasted local food! During all this, our guide Makhfirat has led us effortlessly over the breathtaking mountain passes of 4.500+ meters and through the peaceful valleys of the Pamir mountains! I had the trip of my dreams in the Fann Mountains of Tajikistan! As a solo female traveller, I had some concerns about trekking alone in the mountains, Saidbek was very understanding and sent me a female guide from his team. Us two girls hiking together in gorgeous scenery was like travelling with a little sister, but a very organized and professional sister. I didn´t have to think about any logistics and could just enjoy every minute of the Trek, even when it was freezing on the Alauddin Pass or raining at Kulikalon lake. It was just amazing! Saidbek was very responsive and open to any suggestions and changes beforehand or even during the trip, I´m really glad I chose him!

We had a great trip. We met Saidbek while we were in Dushanbe and really enjoyed our conversations with him. We had a different driver and guide for the tour. After a bit of a rough start (the guide was more than two hours late meeting us at the Uzbeki/Tajiki border) the trip went very well. Roads in Tajikistan are in very poor condition. Both drivers we had liked to drive rather fast and the vehicles suffer, consequently they aren't in "as new" conditions.

If you need someone capable, experienced, intelligent and considerate of what you’re looking to see and do, then Saidbek is your man! I first “met” him, via Indyguide, in early 2020, when looking for someone to guide me through the Pamir and onward to Osh. Well, the Covid plague and various regional rumblings put paid to that. But up he popped early this year, reminding me we’d had a plan and, indeed, a deposit paid back in 2020. Although the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is closed, Saidbek hatched a great plan that brought me back from Karakul to Dushanbe via the Bartang valley. All of it beautifully planned, with mostly homestay accommodation with lovely Pamiri people, and not least, a truly excellent driver and a smart young Pamiri guide. I still marvel at this trip, the astonishing landscape, sometimes fearsome “roads”, and the remarkably hardy and hospitable people of the Pamir. All thanks to Saidbek. And added to that, he helped me out with touring in Khatlon and Sugd provinces, and with getting onward from Dushanbe to Khujand. What can I say - just and all-round great guy! Check him out - he’ll do you proud.

Great trip! Saidbek is professional and very flexible. We had issues with the road conditions and Saidbek helped us adapt the schedule as best as possible. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally responsible and professional!!! We booked with Saidbeck because he was very responsive from the beginning and let me tell you that he took care of us from even before the trip started, guiding us through the visa process, and even double-checking them. Once the trip started everything went very smooth, as planned and as scheduled. Our trip was from Osh (Kyrgyzstan) to Dushanbe (Tajikistan). We landed in Osh on a Saturday, started the road trip on Sunday and arrived in Dushanbe the following Saturday. All as scheduled and programmed by Saidbeck. In addition, he had a plan B in case of road closures (our trip was in wintertime). The homestays, guest houses, and hostels were all different, unique, cheap, comfortable, very welcoming and great food (15USD p/person including dinner and breakfast). We had a different driver from Osh to Murghab (Zhenish) and from there to Dushanbe (Mir). They were both very responsible and skillful drivers. The vehicles were in good working order and clean. Zhenish knew his way to deal with authorities and we had no issues crossing the check-points and border. Mir, the second driver, whom we spent more time with, was an extremely charming and helpful man. We were lucky to have Saidbeck from Murghab to Dushanbe. He is amazingly knowledgeable, very polite, professional and caring of his customers, always trying to make the best of the trip by showing us very unique places, such as forts, shrines, temples, hot springs, historical sites and willing to accept any of our demands for taking pictures, food and whatever else we needed and also a licensed tourist operator. We had access to electricity all throughout the trip, and only into places did we not have hot showers. I could go on and on, thanking Saidbeck and his team, but I think the best way to do it is by telling all of you out there to trust his team and book with them. BTW, I would recommend non-laced shoes as you will experience lots of taking your shoes on and off and also it was difficult to change Kyrgyzstan currency into Tajikistan, so take USD and that will make things easier. I used my Visa card and was able to get money from most places that had ATM machines, we had trouble with other cards and Mastercard is definitely a no-no. Also, you cannot use them in practically any stores not even in the major cites. So be advised, cash is probably your best option. So once again, I must say, you won`t go wrong with Saidbeck´s team.

We were a group of three , two irish and one Japanese citizens who made a late booking with Saidbek. Whilst Saidbek himself was unable to be the Tour guide , he arranged for our driver and also for Purdil to be our Guide. Everything was completly smooth fro mpickup to drop off. We were able to connect via whatsapp fro mthe start of the booking stage all the way throug hto the end with Saidbek calling us in the evening to ensure all went smooth. there were no language barriers at all. we did then met Sadibek by chance in one of the gueshouses where he was leading another tour and he was extremely courteous. No hesiatation to recommend Saidbek (and Purdil) + driver to other peeople. Trip was great too.

Saidbek organised a 7 day Pamir Highway trip from Osh to Dushanbe. The trip was very good- the scenery was amazing and we felt really welcomed by peiple in the Pamirs, being invited to have dinner at a local wedding party and tea with a family on different days. Our drivers were excellent and very friendly even though we spoke no Russian and they, little English. Saidbek arranged all our accommodation for us, which made the trip go smoothly. Our experience from Kyrgyzstan (Osh) to Tajikistan under the planning of Saidbek was not only excellent, but superb!! Although we didn`t get the chance to meet him in person, everything that we had planned "virtually" with him through the internet went on smoothly. One aspect that made him stand out from the rest of our past experiences was his care and concern for his guests. Every evening (when we have phone service access), Saidbek would call us to ask how everything went for the day, and to confirm what we were going to do the next day, which was then related to our driver, to avoid any misunderstanding due to language problem. The driver who was assigned to us, Salibuy, is excellent and the best! He is a very experienced driver (and mechanic of his own car!!) and took us through the Pamir Highway, Wakhan Valley and Bartang Valley, like a true professional. Overall, our experience has been an unforgettable one. In a country like Tajikistan, where many things can turn out to be different from that as planned (due to high elevation and unpredictable weather conditions), it is best to take it easy and go with the flow, which was what we did. Saidbek was far from us physically, but he fixed everything for us by just a phone call. Sometimes, he amazed us by what he did!! We can highly recommend this exceptional "fixer"/guide to all intending to visit his beautiful country. You will not regret it!!

Saidbek organized us 5 days trekking trip in the Fann mountains and 8 days journey through Pamir highway. Everything was great. In the Fann mountains food was plenty and our English speaking guide and the donkey owner took very good care for us. The scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed the trekking. In the Pamirs Saidbek tailored a good itinerary for us and was very attentive to our needs. Our driver Mir was for sure the best you could have and we had a very knowledgeable English speaking guide, Navrusbek travelling with us which made things smooth and easy. The car was comfortable and spacious and the guest houses Saidbek booked for us were much better than we expected. Saidbek also called us every day to make sure everything was ok. I can highly recommend Saidbek and his team.

I choose to work with Saidbek on the site for two reasons: -He really try to understand my project and want I wanted to do in Tadjikistan instead off proposing me classic tours. -He was replying quickly, in a good English and his messages were very clear. During the trip, here are the points that we really appreciated: -He always try to find a solution with a reasonable price for both part the tourist and him. We did a combination trek/driving tour of the Fann Mountains. Saidbek was a pleasure to work with, he was very responsive to all of our questions, in constant communication throughout our tour and did everything he could to ensure we had the best experience. The trekking part of our tour was fantastic and our porter was extremely kind and knew the route well. Despite not speaking a common language, we really enjoyed our time hiking with the porter. Not having our own gear was a bummer, but the gear Saidbek provided turned out to be everything we needed for a comfortable camping experience, including sleeping bags! The only downside was that the majority of the food provided was expired and not the best quality. Luckily, we made it work with what we had and no one went hungry. I would definitely recommend Saidbek for anyone looking to plan a hiking trip in the Fann Mountains or other areas of Tajikistan.

The 7 day Wakhan trip went exactly to plan. Everything was done as written by Saidbek to the last detail. I had the pleasure to share the trip with Alek (a very knowledgeable local guide) and Mir (a very friendly and competent local driver). The trip was the right mix of sightseeing and small hiking that I asked for so I am very happy with the whole experience and can recommend Saidbek and his colleagues 100%. My feelings are that 7 days are not enough to do justice for this excursion. If I could make a change it would be to extend the trip to 10 days and include 2 days or so in Afghanistan. Perhaps it would be interesting to have more experience directly on the silk road. In future I would be interested to also see a tour "in the footsteps of Alexander the Great" across central asia. These are just a few ideas however I am 100% satisfied with my tour and can recommend others to book their tour with Saidbek. Best wishes David

The best trip ever from Khorog to Dushanbe via the Wakahan Valley and Afghanistan! Saidbek is simply fantastic, he recommend an amazing itinerary to travel in the Pamirs in winter, our driver Mir and car was perfect and the homestays were spectacular as well. I was pressed for time and wanted to visit Afghanistan for this trip, before I confirmed my booking with Saidbek, he contacted the Afghan consulate to tell me exactly how much the visa would cost and how long it would take to get it. His partner Purdil met me when I arrived in Khorog and arranged the visa with lightning speed and even treated us to lunch and showed us around Khorog. The homestays were all excellent, I had requested super warm rooms and all homestays made sure I was warm, well fed and well looked after. Saidbek also has great contacts in Afghanistan, both on the Khorog and Sultan Ishkashim side, due to my Tajik second visa delay, I ended up crossing from the Khorog side and had a beautiful time with Masad and his family. All through out the trip, Saidbek phoned up every day to make sure everything was ok. He went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our trip. I am so very grateful for his amazing service and would recommend him 1000%. He has really good contacts in every city it seems which was brilliant! Looking forward to returning to Tajikstan sometime next year, Tajiks are one of the most genuine and heart based people I have ever met. Thanks again!

I went in November, despite lot of people telling me not to go and hence I had lot of doubts but Saidbek managed to clear my doubts and the trip went very smoothly with no problems what so ever. Saidbek has been incredibly helpful throughout my trip and I could contact him whenever I needed to. The guesthouses, car and procedure were all up to the mark. The driver was really nice, caring and is from pamir so knew his way around and got things done. Thank you Saidbek, for a trip I will never forgot. I recommend all users to choose Saidbek and go to pamir, it`s one of the most beautiful places.

I decided to stay in Tajikistan after doing the Pamir Highway and I am so glad I did! Saidbek organised a fantastic itinerary for me for Dushanbe to Khujand. Saidbek met me on the first day for a hike in Shirkent and then I had another guide and driver to Khujand. Everything was very well organised - I had no problems, and the guide and driver were fantastic. Saidbek also checked in on me throughout the trip which was nice as well. I went for a Iskandarkul day trip. Saidbek is good at English and rich in topics and I had a very good time. Not only the contents of the trip we decided in advance, he got my request. He was the best guide. I would like to recommend him to everyone.

It was an amazing 7-day trip through the Pamirs, many thanks! We (a group of 4) most appreciated the great communication with Saidbek, both before and during the trip. He met with us in person before departure, gave us many tips and was reachable on the phone throughout the whole week. Certainly a very reliable and trustworthy provider. Our driver was also very kind, helpful and flexible, showed us the best places and was open to making small adjustments to the schedule. The trip itself was an unforgettable experience with amazing nature. What would make such a trip even better, would be a English-speaking driver, especially if there is no Russian speaker in the group. Apart from that there were some problems with the car on the road that were still taken care of by our driver but could possibly be prevented. A small recommendation for groups of 4 people - go for the bigger car (6/7 seats). Three persons in the back is good for team bonding but not really comfortable. Overall, a very positive experience and highly recommended!

Everything went smoothly! Saidbek organised all ground transportation and logistics for my friends and I who were travelling to Tajik for the first time. He was also often responsive to my questions prior to the trip, though I did feel that an area of improvement could really have been assessing the group’s needs to make certain suggestions in order for us to be better prepared for the trek we did in the Fann Mountains. Saidbek spoke very fluent english and it was easy to communicate with him on matters. The guide we were allocated to on Fann Mountains, however could not manage more than a couple of sentences and it was sometimes difficult to ask questions about the country. That said, my friends and myself enjoyed ourselves plenty - Tajikistan is beautiful :)

Saidbek was an incredible organiser and tailored our tour of the Fann Mountains to match our needs and budget. He also went out of his way to also assist in purchasing tickets for the notoriously difficult flight to Khorog which for us went very well. Strongly recommend Saidbek!

We booked two tours with Saidbek : 6 days trek in the Fann Mountains and then a jeep + driver for the Pamir area. We had a great time. Saidbek was helpful during our stay, good english and communication skills, he knows a lot because he was a guide, has a good network and can solve/fix any matters that can occur during a trip. it`s worth following his advices! I recommend him if you plan going to those places. What to improve : watch the time, and a little bit more of english speaking from the guides / driver provided :)

Excellent experience! Saidbek is very professional. He organized everything perfectly and the journey was great! We had a comfortable Toyota with an experienced driver, who was always ready to satisfy our requests. During the trip, Saidbek called everyday to know if everything was ok. I had some health problem and he was always careful and continued to inquire about my state of health even when I returned home. Highly recommended!!

The tour was good organized by Saidbek. If we had special wishes he always tried to integrate them in our program. The people at the guesthouses we stayed were really friendly and always helpful. Whenever we needed help we could call Saidbek. (if there was signal ,) ) He also asked always if everything is ok. It was a really nice and good planed trip.

In September 2016 I took part in a road trip through the Silk Roads of Tadjikistan. We travelled along River Panj, through the Wakhan Valley, stayed in Murgob, swam in Lake Karakul and even touched Osh in Kirgistan, then turned back to Duschanbe, having a day trip to Fort Hissor. All the time Saidbek was our reliable and friendly and helpful guide in any ways. He has a great knowledge and love of the country and the culture, you can feel his enthusiasm about country and people. The homestays/hotels and restaurants he chose were all great, the cars were clean and safe with very friendly drivers. We visited interesting towns with their bazars, and also Zardoshtian temples, spoke to the locals and were impressed by the mountains. I can warmly recommend Saidbek, who speaks English and also the languages and dialects of the locals very well, as your guide for Tadjikistan trips and wish him lots of happy guests.
