I also bring experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the mining industry, ensuring that our tours are both thrilling and safe. We did a 5D4N trip beginning from Almaty to Bishkek, crossing the eastern border and stopping by multiple locations nearby Issyk-kul. Yerlan kept us comfortable and safe during the trip with his driving and even provided flexibility and alternatives for locations to visit when the weather took a turn. It must also be mentioned that Yerlan's breadth of languages and rapport with guest and locals across Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan is amazing. Would strongly recommend other folks to take his tours up!

Regardless of my short notice, he quickly arranged everything, and we were able to complete the trip smoothly. However, his response to my messages and calls after providing the information was quite slow. I felt anxious when I couldn't find the car and he didn't pick up my call. He only replied after everything had been sorted out.
He seems to be more focused on arranging the trip than on following up with customers afterward.

Unfortunately we had a few issues with our transfer. Pickup time was supposed to be 8am but we were notified at 11.30pm the night before (when we had already gone to sleep, so didn’t see the message) that it was changed to 9am. We were given details of the second driver meeting us at the Kazakh side of the border, but when we arrived he was not there (we didn’t have any phone/internet access at the time). Some helpful locals helped us to call to double check that he was coming, but we were nonetheless left waiting 40 minutes in the sun at a deserted border crossing for the driver to arrive (despite assurance he would be there in 10 minutes). Overall we made it fine to our destination but we paid a significant premium for the convenience of this transfer over taking the bus, and it was disappointing that it did not go smoothly.

Not recommended at all. Driver was rude and late almost everyday, which affected our itineraries. Most of the time, the driver was on video calls and texting while driving. It was such a reckless driver, you can literally see the steering wheel turning left and right while the driver's eyes were on his phone. Please avoid this company at all cost unless you want to put at life at risk.
I am truly sorry for your experience, and I sincerely apologize on behalf of our Kyrgyz driver, Jom, who accompanied you in Kyrgyzstan.
Your feedback is very concerning, and I completely understand your frustration. What you described, especially regarding unsafe driving and lack of professionalism, is absolutely unacceptable, and I take this matter very seriously.
Due to a conflict between the Kyrgyz and Kazakhstan guides and drivers at that time, I made the decision—for safety reasons—not to personally cross the border and instead arranged for a local Kyrgyz driver to handle the Kyrgyzstan portion of your tour. However, this does not excuse the level of service you received.
I fully agree with your feedback, and I deeply regret that we did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that I have taken immediate action regarding this issue to prevent anything similar from happening again.Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience and distress caused.

Yerlan is an excellent guide and is very knowledgeable about Kazakh (and Mongolian!) history and culture. It is unfortunate that the weather was very poor and that the excursions to Lake Yazovoe, the thermal springs, and the Altai villages had to be cancelled. To improve matters for future guests, advertising for this tour should stipulate that the ideal time is from mid-June. In addition, there should be a specific back-up plan for inclement weather. I will admit that Yerlan did try his best to come up with alternatives, but spending two days in Ust-Kamenogorsk was not good value for money.
Our tour with Sharon went very well. She is a true nature lover and an expert in birds. I learned a lot about birdwatching, and now I’ve even found a new hobby! She is easygoing, a wonderful person, and I highly recommend her.

Our time with Yerlan was excellent, We travelled for 5 days in the region to the east of Almaty, taking in Kalsoy and Kaindy Lakes, Black and Charyn Canyons, Altyn-Emel National Park and then skiing at Shymbulak. Everything was well organised. Days flowed well with excellent combinations of travel time to exploring time, which given the vastness of the landscape was excellent management of our time.
Yerlan is excellent company, it felt like we were being shown round by a friend.
