It was my first time in Mongolia, and I loved my experience ! What I loved most was being able to discover Mongolia in the most complete and authentic way possible. We experienced all aspects of Mongolian and Kazakh culture : the food, the music, the local way of life, archery, horseback riding, eagle hunting, and we even visited unique historic places. Our guide, Yerlan, was incredibly kind and qualified. It's simple, he knows everything. Also, traveling with Yerlan meant complete peace of mind. Yerlan and his team took care of everything ! The food was delicious, and there were even vegetarian options. We were able to sleep in yurts and stay with nomadic families. The 4x4 vehicles transported us and followed us everywhere. The entire team was incredibly friendly. I truly fell in love with the country, I loved this trip. To all those who are hesitant to go to Mongolia, trust Yerlan, you won't regret it.
I had the rare chance to travel with Yerlan to visit the eagle hunters in Western Mongolia and the reindeer herders in the North. It was one of the most magnificent experiences I’ve ever had — deeply touching, visually stunning, and meaningful in a way that stays with you long after the trip ends. Watching how people live in harmony with nature and their animals, observing their traditional lifestyles, and feeling the stillness of the land taught me so much about mindfulness, presence, and reconnecting with Mother Earth. Yerlan is incredibly knowledgeable, and I truly appreciate how he supported our group throughout the journey. We didn’t have to worry about anything except learning to adapt to the winter cold (we’re all from tropical countries!). Yerlan organized the logistics team, the ger set-ups, and the meals. Sometimes we ate with the locals for a full cultural immersion, and sometimes the team cooked for us — everything felt effortless and authentic. He is also a very talented photographer and knows so much about Mongolian culture, history, and the nomadic way of life. Traveling with him felt both safe and inspiring. 100% recommend Yerlan to anyone who wants a cultural experience that goes far beyond tourism.
I traveled with Yerlan for 12 days. We spent most of the time in the north with the Tsaatan. Yerlan is one of the best guides I have ever met. His English skills are excellent, and you can talk with him about all kinds of topics. He took all my wishes into account, both during the planning stage and while we were on the trip. When you travel with him for a while, you notice that he has been doing this job for many years. No matter where you are, he can always tell you something interesting about the places you visit. He also has a large network of drivers, all of whom are very friendly and likable. Especially Baggi—he was simply incredible! Yerlan also takes great photos during the trip, so you can fully focus on enjoying nature. He says he’s still practicing, but ask him about his photos of the White Trees or the Mongolian wrestling statues, and you’ll see how talented he really is. With Yerlan, you don’t just find a great trip—you also gain a friend. Definitely recommended.
