About Chuda
Namasté!
I am Chuda, born and raised in the mountains of beautiful Nepal. I was born in Thulo Parsel, a village in the Himalayan mountains of Timal district. I was only allowed to go to school until I was 16 years old and after that I started early in tourism. First I went as a porter in the mountains, then as an assistant cook. I was eager to learn so soon I became an assistant trekking guide and after that a trip leader. I love to spend time with clients in the mountains!
Together with my wife, Maaike, I have a travel agency.. It was my dream to be able to provide work for family and friends and to contribute to the development of different communities. So now I have a team of guides and drivers that work with us. We run our travels and agency in a sustainable way, and are a Travelife Certified company since 2018.
I like to organize and arrange treks and tours and make sure everything runs smoothly. In low season I often go along as a guide myself, and my favorite treks are these with families.
