Unfortunately we were highly unhappy with the service of Musa. We rented a car from him for 2 weeks. At the agreed handover of the car he sent a friend that did not speak any word of English and the car was a total wreck. At the first inspection of the car we saw that it was extremely dirty. When we started it, the signal light for the engine, the tyres and the service light were orange. There was no backmirror and the trunk did not open at all. Also the windshield had two big cracks and on the outside there were scratches everywhere. After reaching him via Facetime he explained to me that the car has no problem and all of his cars are like this and they are good cars for mountain. He just told me to "keep an eye on the red temperature warning light and the water temperature while driving". When I said I don't want to rent that car because it needs to go to a mechanic, he became rather aggressive and told me no this is a good car and everything is fine and the price of a 100€ per day is very cheap. After we discussed for a while he just hung up on me. After a few minutes we reached him again and he was aggressively telling us the car is good and we have to take it because his friend brought it from Osh. We said no, hung up after that and didn't take the car and found a reliable and good car, with a reliable renting company (BishkekBook) for the same price. So if you want to have a reliable car to drive around Kyrgyzstan with a reliable and nice renting service, I would definitely NOT recommend Musa.

Just completed a 7 day tour of Kyrgyzstan with Musa. Musa and his colleague Kuba were fantastic! Before the trip, Musa was communicative, honest, and forthright about expectations and costs. During the trip, Musa and his colleague Kuba were hospitable, friendly, and always concerned with my comfort and safety. (I spent the first half of the trip with Musa and Kuba, and the second half with Kuba) On one notable occasion, I got sick after a long hike and Kuba went and got medicine for me. It was a very kind, thoughtful, gesture. I cannot recommend Musa enough! 10/10!

We had a great overall experience with Musa. At start we were surprised cause when we met him at the airport he told us he couldn’t drive us around (because he was sick) and he arranged us another driver, who was really kind and good. He had not informed us in time for this. The only problem was that the other driver didn’t speak any English, and we had trouble understanding each other. But slowly using the google translator we were able to communicate. The first day the car had a little issue with the temperature and the A/C was not working properly so we were a bit uncomfortable and felt really unsafe to begin a big journey with this car. Soon though right after lunch our kind driver fixed it and we could continue with our trip. All the other days were perfect. The other driver has the kindest heart, was driving very carefully, keeped the schedule crisp and on time and was proposing many options during the trip. I don’t know how Musa would be cause we didn’t have any experience with him as a driver - guide. In conclusion while at start we had a bit of drawback, soon things got a lot better and we had a unique and amazing experience over all! Would definitely recommend Musa and his team to anyone who will be visiting Kyrgistan👌👍

Honest and reliable, we rented a car from Musa for our Pamir Highway trip from Bishkek to Dushanbe. When the first car Musa had organised needed repairs, Musa organised another 2 for our journey so we didn't have to change our plans. He also organised the Letter of Attorney for the car so we had no problems at the border crossing. He was always friendly and helpful. Thank you Musa for your help.

The trip to Kyrgyzstan was incredible, but our experience with this car rental was mixed. The vehicle we received was not the one we had booked and paid for (a Prado instead of a full Land Cruiser), which made a real difference for a group of six people (small jump seat in the trunk and limited space for luggage). Then, the Prado broke down on the second-to-last day (starter failure). The vehicle had 280,000 km, these things can happen. What bothered us was that from that point on, Musa started looking for things we would have done wrong. He claimed that we had caused a bad smell in the vehicle, even though it was already present when we picked it up. He reproached us for not cleaning the car, even though it was immobilized, which made it impossible for us to do so. He even ended up blaming me for driving on dirt roads… which make up a large part of the country’s road network. After much insistence on my part, a replacement car was finally arranged for the last day, but it only had 5 seats, even though I had clearly requested a vehicle for 6. Overall, the service does not justify the price of 150€/day, and the handling of unexpected issues lacked professionalism. Musa is very friendly as long as everything goes smoothly, which may change if a problem arises.

I had a wonderful time travelling through Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with the Toyota 4runner provided by Musa. Musa was a very good host to me since I landed in Bishkek and was very helpful in planning my solo trip. I had a tire trouble once during the journey and he promptly arranged for a mechanic to fix the issue. Musa was always reachable if needed and is very responsive. Car was in very good condition as promised and I was able to overcome many difficult terrains without issues. Car was equipped with all the items required in case of any issues. I will definitely contact Musa next time when I visit Central Asia and highly recommend Musa for anyone planning to visit Kyrgyzstan for a wonderful trip!!

Amazing 2 week tour through Kyrgyzstan with Musa. He is patient, so I was able to take tons of pictures. He's also great with cars, so any flat tire we got was resolved quickly (and it happened a couple times). He introduced me to lots of people, helped me make new friends, and showed me some truly spectacular places in Kyrgyzstan. A memorable trip I would recommend to anyone. I can't wait to come back and visit Musa again and spend more time exploring the incredible mountains of his home!

We had a great time with Musa's car ! Even if it was not a young one, we traveled everywhere without any problem. We had one day a flat tyre but we could replace it with the extra one and went to the nearest town to change if for 300/600 SOMS (in 2024). Musa was always reachable if needed and is really honest ! Traveling alone by car had definitely made our adventure in Kyrgyzstan way way way better and just wonderful ! Tips to know : - Musa was ok to receive the deposit in euro or dollars. If we knew before we could avoid withdraw so many times at the airport increasing transaction fees

An amazing trip. Not only is Musa a great guide but a fantastic guy in general. On our last day he even helped out a guy in need who had broken down on the roadside. Everything that was requested was provided and exceeded expectations. He has a great relationship with the people he meets on the road and that is evident everywhere we went. Everything went very well, Musa and his wife are wonderful people and went out of there way to make sure that we were both safe and comfortable on the journey. The car had a few small issues on the way, but, that is to be expected when travelling off road for the majority of a trip! We met with Musa`s brother (Nourbek). Nourbek managed the entire relationship (From handing over the car to Dushambe until getting it back in Osh). We self drove and the trip was amazing !

It was a wonderful trip with Akjol the driver. We had contacted Musa directly because he had posted a trip offer similar to what we had planned. Simultaneously, we posted our request to all. In contrast to most others he answered right from the beginning in a very specific way. He made some additional suggestions which accidently matched some of our very initial ideas and some destinations that we had not had on our list. During the trip, Akjol "insisted" in one particular case that we visited some hot springs. Initially, we kind of gave in but eventually we very much appreciated his insistence as we would not have missed those hot springs. All in all, we very much appreciated the easy communication with Musa, the driving skills and carefulness of Akjol.

I had a fantastic trip with Musa who is friendly, flexible and considerate and a great driver. The Pamir Highway is truly spectacular and I highly recommend Musa to other travellers.

We are 4 good old friends and we booked a 12 Day Pamir Highway Adventure in August 2019 with MUSA and his wife NADYA. They are really experts in advising and organizing such a tours, answering kindly to all messages and questions in very good English. I personally did the travel plan but all their proposals and changes were necessary and absolutely correct. We didn`t want a driver but they convinced us to have a mechanic, just in case... They were right again. KUBA, our mechanic, driver most of the time and good companion was a nice guy, experienced, polite, honest, flexible and willing to help in different cases especially with our luggage in and out every day... His English is understandable and he promised to improve it. Unfortunately we didn`t meet Musa and Nadya as business is coming first but we would like to recommend them without any doubt. Some diarrheas and other mild sicknesses can`t change our best opinion for these beautiful, safe Countries - Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan - full of adorable Peoples and immense natural beauties!

I had a very good time with Musa, travelling for 27 days all-around Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The highlight was definitely the Pamir Highway from Kalaikhumb to Sary Mogul. Musa is a very polite and adoptable person. So the many hours we spent together in the car, in homestays, in restaurants, etc. were enjoyable. At the end of the tour, Musa`s wife Nadya joined the trip for several days and it was real fun to travel with them. Musa is a very experienced driver and tour operator. We changed the itinerary many times and Musa always found a good solution. I also did tours with other drivers in Kazakhstan. Musa is simply the BEST!

We hired a vehicle for our travel in Tajikistan and Kyrgystan for abput 18 days. Musa has good knowledge about both countries and took us around. He also helped us find budget homestay and interpreted with locals that further helped us. Musa is a very reliable, friendly and a good person with lot of patience. We hand a wonderful time and enjoyed our five trip to Tajikestan last October during which Musa was our guide. He is a knowledgable local guide and a skilled driver .His choice of hotels and local restaurants is very good. We had lots of fun .

I hired Musa because of his raving reviews here and was not disappointed. Communication was easy and very efficient before my arrival to Central Asia. Everything went smoothly and safely. Musa is an excellent, experienced driver who knows his way in the Pamirs and is always ready to stop on request and make detours. Besides, his friendliness and sense of humour helped making the long, rough trip very lighthearted and amusing. I was lucky enough to enjoy the company of his wife, Nadya, who is both a guide and English teacher, and their lovely young daughter, Sofiya, for part of our journey. We even visited Musa`s household in Murghab and had lunch with his wonderful family. The homestays were well-chosen, all very good and comfy, and the food quite delicious, in spite of the near unavailability of it in the Wakhan corridor. The whole feeling was of a family tour along beautiful landscapes and truly friendly people: definitely the trip of a lifetime! Everything and everywhere that we went was just wonderful. We kept changing around our itinerary but Musa knew the Pamirs like the back of his hand and was completely adaptable to all changes that we had. We took our three year old with us and "Sir Musa" as Henry called him was just great to our whole family. At no stage did we ever feel concerned or worried about his driving, he is incredibly skilled in negotiating some of the most challenging roads getting around. We would heartily recommend him not just as a driver but as a top bloke to boot. No review would be complete without thanking his amazing wife Nadya for all of her help in organising the tour and accommodation. As Musa is on the road a fair bit Nadya did a fantastic job of answering all of our silly questions.

Musa is a great driver and guide... and trip mate! He always chose wonderful places both to see and to spend the night in. Communication with him was good, before and during the trip. The car is big, clean and comfortable (we were four, plus Musa). Musa`s music selection was the perfect soundtrack of the trip. Ask him to put on some songs and you`ll find yourself at some point singing in Russian. We had an amazing time with Musa and the whole group was very satisfied. Communicating with Musa was relatively simple, as his wife speaks excellent English. The car I hired to self-drive was presented with a few problems, including a defunct emergency brake, perished fuel indicators, and a weak reverse gear but overall was in excellent mechanical condition despite its age and I encountered no problems with the engine throughout the trip. It would be wise, however, to test drive the vehicle upon delivery and ensure your satisfaction with it according to your own standards. Musa was upfront with the issues when he presented the car so it was just a matter of your own tolerances. I returned the car with one strip of the body side molding detached, but was not penalized for it.

We travelled with Musa on the Pamir Highway from Osh, through the Wakhan Valley, to Dushanbe. My husband and I had the experience of a lifetime along this part of the Silk Road. The stunning countryside and warm hospitality of people provided many memorable encounters with both locals and nature. We travelled early in the season and, at the start of our trip, did not know whether it would be possible to cross the mountain passes. Musa kept us informed about the latest developments in accessibility using his network of contacts throughout the area. The passes were open and landslides had been cleared. Musa knew exactly how to navigate his vehicle safely across snow left on the mountain roads or through streams of meltwater coming off the mountains. Musa was always happy to stop to let us to take photos of the stunning mountain landscape and accommodated requests for side trips to remote lakes, villages or other cultural sites. Musa organised our homestays, which were reliably good, and our hosts welcomed us with warm hospitality. Musa was always considerate and his friendly manner never faltered in light of our many questions about the stunning region and the people. Musa was an excellent driver and guide for our journey and I strongly recommend him and his family’s compan to anyone looking for a knowledgeable guide and experienced driver in the Pamir region.
