Batbadrakh, also known to many travelers as Henry, runs a small tour company based in Ulaanbaatar. He plans and coordinates the trips himself, working with a team of drivers and guides who take travelers out on the road, while he handles planning, pricing and communication, often staying in touch throughout the journey even from areas with limited signal.
The range of trips covers the whole country: the Gobi Desert and its sand dunes and cliffs, Central Mongolia's Orkhon Valley and Kharkhorin, Khuvsgul Lake and the northern taiga with reindeer herders, and shorter trips near Ulaanbaatar such as Terelj National Park. Multi-day horse trekking, camel riding, hiking and stays with nomadic families feature throughout, and he can also arrange car and driver hire on its own for travelers who prefer to set their own pace.

We (3x pax) just came back from an amazing nine day tour around Mongolia (Gobi Legend 7 days plus an extra 2 days) and would not hesitate to recommend both Batbadrakh (aka Henry) and Turo to anyone looking to visit Mongolia. Henry (coordinator) was a pleasure to work with while organising the trip - no question was ever too much (and believe me I had many) and he was so flexible, even changing the itinerary at the last minute to accommodate a random request we had. Turo (driver and guide) was fantastic throughout. He’s an excellent driver, but more than that he’s a great guide too. From day one we felt comfortable with Turo, throughout the trip he was able to answer our random questions and there was so much laughter it really made the trip even more enjoyable. Thank you both Henry and Turo. If we come back we’ll definitely use your services again, in the meantime we’ll be passing on your details to anyone we know that’s looking to go to Mongolia. Heads up: Given the distances and road conditions between attractions, comfortable and reliable transportation is key - luckily our car was both.
Batbad (Henry) helped us organize a 17-day driving trip around Mongolia. We added plans to the 10-day itinerary and the outcome was amazing. He was really responsive & attentive to all our requests both before and during the tour! Joloo (George) our driver was TOP skilled of all Mongolian roads, he was also very friendly and attentive, we felt safe and comfortable every moment; Tuya our guide was joyful, patient and supportive to our requests, fluent in English, and she explained all of our questions (that were many). She took care of our diet, and she was always interested in sharing culture, traditions and experiences. Our 4x4 was very comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us. We drove more than 3,000km, stayed in nice and very clean gers, travel by horse to more remote regions, met families and shared food and everlasting moments in every corner we visited in Mongolia. Definitely Batbad and his team made our adventure in Mongolia a wonderful experience, 100% recommended!!

We had the incredible opportunity to visit several nomadic families and immerse ourselves in Mongolian culture. These intimate encounters gave us lasting insights and memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
